Tronic design created this piece for Sony it is entitled Sony/Sweet. The designed and animated this piece for the Sony style stores for their holiday campaign. Tronic explain how “combining CG chocolate with a live action shoot, they was able to bring Sony’s products to life in a completely unexpected and playful manner.” Tronic Studios are a collective of architects, designers, art directors and directors which together use their abilities to develop ideas and work creating imagery, movement and experiences.
I found this piece reflects their individuality as a company and as individual designers. The piece is beautiful, simple and is effective. Working from just one element of the brief relating to the “sweet” element is very effective. The technical element is really fascinating. The use of 3D and live action is stunning and shows the skill involved.
